About You and the Role:
Are you passionate about employee relations, diversity, and creating inclusive workplaces? We’re on the lookout for a Human Resources Advisor to join our team and make a real impact across multiple sites, supporting both operational and office-based teams.
As a key player in our HR team, you’ll provide expert guidance on a variety of HR matters, manage employee relations cases, and champion supported employment initiatives for individuals with disabilities. You will also support managers in enhancing their people skills and maintaining compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Support managers in handling disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
- Workforce Support: Act as the HR contact for employees and managers, promoting a positive work environment and supporting recruitment, retention, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Diversity & Supported Employment: Assist in the recruitment and support of individuals with disabilities, ensuring appropriate workplace adjustments are made.
- Policy & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date HR policies and support managers in applying them consistently and fairly across sites.
- Learning & Development: Help develop and deliver HR-related training, providing coaching to managers on people management skills.
- HR Administration & Reporting: Ensure accurate employee records, generate reports, and assist with key HR projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience.
- Previous experience in an HR advisory role, preferably within a warehousing, logistics, or similar operational environment.
- Experience in working with supported employment schemes or disability inclusion programs is highly desirable.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel between sites as required.
