We\u2019re proud to support a wide range of retailers, helping them reach more customers and deliver a seamless experience every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GFS is part of ILG, a leading 3PL (third party logistics provider) specialising in high-quality, people-led order fulfilment, forming part of a wider group capability across fulfilment and delivery services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we continue to grow, we\u2019re looking for motivated people who want to be part of a fast-paced, customer-focused business where their ideas and impact really matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The role<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A GFS Account Manager has overall responsibility for managing the collaborative relationships with our mid-tier customers. They are responsible for developing relationships and retaining customers; connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and scheduling regular business review meetings with customers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a field-based role (covering maternity leave) and you will be expected to spend a significant amount of time meeting customers out of the office and travelling. The territory mainly covers the South East of England so you should be based in that region. A Northampton base could be considered but you would need to be prepared to travel anywhere between Kent and East Sussex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"your-role\">Main Areas of Responsibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Managing a customer portfolio for mid-tier customers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acting as the primary point of contact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentations to key customer contacts regarding GFS\u2019 products and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing accurate status reports of existing accounts and new business opportunities within the corporate arena<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generation of new business sales from existing customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage, maintain and improve the customer&#8217;s business profitability through commercial rate reviews and cost management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acting as a liaison between customers and GFS Departments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with Sales team to support onboarding of new mid-tier customers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meeting deadlines, and achieving targets as set by Manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring that the customers within your remit adhere to payment terms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate records of customers interactions on
