Goods In and Stock Control Manager

Overview:

Location: Northampton – Brackmills 2

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, which may include early, late and weekend shifts

Salary: £30,849 – £35,420 per annum, depending on experience

 

The role

This role will be based at ILG’s new site on the Brackmills Industrial Estate. Permanent relocation support available up to £1,000 plus 3 additional days leave when moving. Subject to relocation agreement being signed, expenditure agreed in advance, and receipts being submitted.

As a Goods In and Stock Control Manager you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the management of every aspect in relation to the running of the goods in, return and stock control department, including receiving and booking in client stock in accordance with SLA as well as directing and co-ordinating all stock control activities of the customer product lines stored within the warehouse. You will also be expected to proactively look for process improvements with a methodical and consistent approach and take responsibility and ownership in problem investigation and resolution.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience of stock control and inventory counts and inbound (essential)
  • Methodical and able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and tasks
  • Possess an understanding of 3ex.net or/and SNAP warehouse management system and MS office packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to react within a complex and growing operational environment
  • Able to develop and roll out processes and systems to improve efficiency of department
  • Forward thinking with the ability to “think on your feet”
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team of 20-30.
