We are thrilled to announce that ILG has been awarded the prestigious RoSPA Gold President’s Award for the third year in a row. This award is made for ‘sustained achievement’ after winning 12 consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards.
2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards, which began as a small event to recognise the achievements of companies prioritising the safety of workers in UK, and has now grown into the biggest and most prestigious health and safety awards programme in the world, with the 2026 awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.
Alan Summerfield, Health & Safety Manager at ILG said:
“Each year we enter the RoSPA Health & Safety Awards. This not only goes towards assisting us in the measurement of our Health & Safety effectiveness, but also enables us to be benchmarked against other organisations and show our Health & Safety commitment to other organisations and clients.
Whilst the compilation and submission of the award entry falls to the Health & Safety Team it is very definitely a team effort in our being able to show our commitment to Health & Safety. I am in no doubt that absolutely everyone in the business plays their part (no matter how big or small) during the year in working to improve our levels of Health & Safety and in really embedding our positive Health & Safety culture into everything we do, this really is a reflection of ILG getting the job done safely.”
Being awarded the RoSPA Gold President’s Award highlights our continuous efforts to promote a culture of safety and security within our workforce. By implementing robust safety measures, conducting rigorous risk assessments, and providing comprehensive training, ILG ensures that its employees operate in a safe and healthy working environment.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, said:
“RoSPA congratulates ILG, on their RoSPA Health and Safety Award. The high standards ILG, has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which they should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour. 2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like ILG, that people today are safer at work than in the past, and sets an inspiring example for the future.”
