When did you join ILG?

I joined ILG in February 2018.

Why did you join ILG?

The previous company I was working at went into administration, I was then put in touch with a colleague from that company who had recently started a job at ILG, so I applied and got the job. I enjoyed doing the Excel test in my interview!

Talk us through you career journey at ILG

I started off in the Finance Support team as a Junior Data Analyst working with our supplier’s invoices. I was moved around suppliers several times so I built up good and adaptable knowledge of the main processes. In December 2020, I was promoted to Data Analyst Supervisor – taking on the management of the Finance Support team. Then, in October 2022 I moved on to another role as a Billing Analyst.

What does your job involve?

I create and review reports that look at our reconciliations and billing whilst still providing some assistance to the Finance Support team. I analyse and process the invoices for one of our major suppliers whose process is more complex than our other suppliers. I am also involved in testing the finance parts of our shipping billing system for new version updates.
