Operations Director – Midlands

Overview:

Location: Midlands

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: Competitive based on experience

We’re looking for an Operations Director who knows how to run, improve and scale multi-site logistics operations.

At ILG, we partner with premium brands to deliver high-quality fulfilment and logistics solutions. It’s a fast-moving, client-driven environment where performance really matters and where there’s real opportunity to make an impact.

This is a senior role with full accountability for performance, people and P&L across several warehouse sites. You’ll set direction, raise standards and make sure the operation delivers consistently.

You’ll work through experienced General Managers, but stay close enough to spot issues, challenge where needed and drive improvement at pace.

This isn’t about maintaining the status quo. There’s clear opportunity to tighten performance, increase efficiency and build stronger leadership capability across sites.

You’ll also play a key role in what comes next, from automation through to network growth and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has led multi-site logistics operations before
  • Owns performance and P&L without hesitation
  • Understands both the numbers and the operation itself
  • Sets high standards and holds people to them
  • Gets things done

  • Car allowance
  • Pension scheme with option of salary sacrifice or auto enrollment
  • Private medical insurance (single cover)

  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave

In return, you’ll get real ownership, real influence, and the chance to make a visible impact across a large-scale operation.

If you want a role where delivery matters, this is it.
