The role

As a Software Tester you will play an integral part in the company’s product development and client onboarding process by providing quality assurance on all system development, ensuring that project timelines are maintained and projects are delivered on time.  The key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Reviewing project/client requirements to understand what needs to be tested on a project
• With Senior Software Tester’s assistance create well-structured test plans and test cases that will test the functional requirements in full.
• Execute the manual tests via ILG’s test management tool and ILG’s software
• Identify, raise and track any bugs identified during testing
• Perform the necessary regression testing to ensure that all system areas function as expected
• Liaise with internal teams during test execution to communicate any issues
• Attend regular project update meetings
• Help to maintain existing regression test packs
• Assist in knowledge share of ILG’s systems
• Supporting Client Test Needs

What we are looking for

• Good knowledge of ILG systems: (e.g. SNAP / 3ex / Netcourier)
• Good knowledge of ILG business and workflow processes
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• An assertive and diplomatic personality
• The ability to prioritise work
• The ability to work autonomously or part of a team
• The ability to manage more than one task at any one time
• The ability, and a willingness, to perform repetitive tasks when required
• Good problem analysis and resolution skills
• Familiarity with Software Testing Methodology (desirable)
