How Does a Fulfilment Partner Support the Growth of Indie Brands? 💭 For indie brands, every order matters. Throughout September, we celebrated Sustainable September with a variety of incentives and events for our whole team to get involved in. Here are just a few highlights of what we got up to! 🛍️ From start to finish, we hosted a pop-up shop with items kindly donated by some of our amazing customers. This not only helped reduce waste but also raised money for our charity of the year, Together for Short Lives, with a fantastic grand total of £12,134 raised! 🍏Each Wednesday, our team embraced sustainability by bringing in homemade lunches, helping to reduce both food waste and unnecessary packaging. To add some extra fun, we also encouraged everyone to showcase their best second-hand fashion finds, a great way to highlight that making eco-friendly choices can be both practical and stylish. 💚 We celebrated Green Day by asking everyone to come in wearing an item of green clothing. 🚯 On World Cleanup Day, our Brackmills team got stuck in with litter picking to support the local community. 🚲 On World Car Free day, we encouraged everyone to work from home or use more carbon-friendly alternatives to their usual commute, such as walking, cycling or using a mode of public transport. ♻️ We wrapped up the month with Recycling Week, joined by Grundon, who delivered an engaging session on the importance of recycling – not just our own waste, but our customers’ too. What a month it’s been! We’re so proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by our teams throughout the month, it’s a great reminder of the difference we can make when we work together for a more sustainable future! 💚♻️💪

Peak season is when the pressure really kicks in. The ‘Ops Crush’ is real – that point when fast-growing brands feel the weight of fulfilment and logistics more than any other time. In this piece for Transport & Logistics Magazine, ILG’s Marketing Director, Andy Hunt, looks at why so many brands hit a wall when scaling, how logistics often becomes the bottleneck, and how to build foundations for sustainable growth: Click the link in our bio to read the full article 🔗 As we head into Peak 2025, it’s a good reminder that growth only happens if your operations can keep up.

Ever come across the term MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) and wondered why it matters? 📦 Put simply, it’s the smallest amount a supplier will let you order. Of course, they will set MOQ at a level that ensures your order makes business sense for them – but it has to make sense for your operation too. In our latest guide, we cover: – What MOQ actually means – What influences MOQ levels – How MOQ affects your supply chain – How to calculate your ideal MOQ levels Because getting MOQ wrong can slow you down, but getting it right can set you up for growth.
